My word to you is step out of your comfort zone, take that bold
step that God has been laying on your heart, face your fears, try new things
and you'll be surprised at how much you can achieve. Worst that could happen is
that it won't work out, but if you ask me, I'd rather try something out than
have regrets wishing I did.
Some of us think some changes cannot be possibly made, well, I daresay that is a lie from the pit of hell. Even destinies can be changed, read the story of Jabez (I. Chronicles 4:9-10) and that of Esau (Genesis 27). Jabez was born in pain but changed his destiny by praying to God. The criterion for Esau's deliverance from serving his brother Jacob was to grow restless and throw his brothers yoke from off him. Notice the trend in both stories? They had to make the move before they could enjoy the blessings. Quite often, God is simply waiting for us to change, that is why He equipped every one of us with our minds; to think and act appropriately. Start putting everything that God has given you to good use and make the relevant changes in line with God's plan and purpose for your life.
As Tom Holladay wrote, "growth and change always come through doing uncomfortable things" so, you may not feel your best while you are making those changes but do it knowing that in the end, you will look back and be glad you did.
Have a blessed week
